Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools across the job site safely and efficiently
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools, supplies, and assistance as directed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Operate basic construction equipment under supervision and report any issues immediately
- Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, temporary structures, or formwork
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and productivity
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and regulations
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required; we value motivation and a strong work ethic above all else
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
