Account Coordinator

Redroc Austin, an established full-service advertising agency based in Austin, TX, is searching for a full-time Account Coordinator position to work as part of our Account Team.

This is a fantastic position to learn about all aspects of advertising right in the heart of South Austin, working with an award-winning team of experienced creatives and marketers. Entry Level will be considered but some experience is ideal, as well as a 4-year related degree or equal experience. The ideal candidate will learn and grow quickly by being a part of a highly collaborative team.

This position will work with the account and creative teams in planning and managing projects including web sites, graphic design, video projects, branding and more. This position will also work with our Account Managers and media team to facilitate planning traditional, digital and social media plans. Redroc manages 50 accounts in Austin, throughout Texas and across the country in multiple industries, but with a focus on events, entertainment and hospitality.

This is a hybrid position – A mix of work-from-home, in-office and on-site at clients (as needed). We work Monday through Friday roughly 9a-6p. Candidate must reside in the greater Austin area and be available for in-person meetings or shoots and for in-office days at our South Lamar office. Remote-only candidates will not be considered.

What you will do in this role:

• Assist the account team with all facets of account management.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines within the agency to meet and exceed client expectations on a wide range of projects.
• Learn, understand and execute our agency processes.
• Support the team in opening and tracking creative work and providing internal teams with all necessary information for project deliverables.
• Coordinate and create monthly billing reports across many clients.
• Write or gather content for client websites, blogs and other communications.
• Provide general assistance with the production of client projects, such as video or photo shoots.
• Update client websites using WordPress.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, internal meetings, and project review discussions.
• Manage the new client onboarding process.
• Assist in coordinating asset gathering and approvals directly with clients

The ideal candidate has strong communication, collaboration, active listening, and problem-solving skills. They must also be able to work independently on multiple tasks ranging from small tactical assignments to complex projects, and then bring your work to the team in a collaborative setting. This position requires extreme organization of your tasks and duties and management of many overlapping projects. Experience using Asana, Harvest, HeyOrca Social is a plus, but not required. Proficiency in Word and Excel is required.

Annual Salary: $40,000
