Redpath Partners are working with a global, institutionally backed real estate fund manager with an integrated platform encompassing development, investment, capital management, and property operations across multiple international markets. The firm manages a large, diversified portfolio through a combination of public vehicles and private funds, with a primary focus on scalable sectors such as logistics, student accommodation, office, data centres, and mixed‑use real estate. Its investment approach is defined by disciplined capital management, strong on‑the‑ground operating capabilities, and a long‑term ownership mindset, enabling it to originate, develop, and actively manage assets to drive sustainable value creation for institutional investors globally.
The platform is seeking to hire a SVP of Investments based in Dallas HQ to lead acquisitions and Disposals across its U.S. student housing portfolio vertical.
The Role
This role will lead the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of investment opportunities across key university markets while helping shape the long-term growth strategy of the platform.
Working closely with senior leadership across the U.S., Asia, and Europe, the successful candidate will play a central role in expanding the portfolio through acquisitions, joint ventures, and capital initiatives.
- Lead origination and execution of student housing acquisitions across the United States
- Develop relationships with brokers, developers, operators, and capital partners
- Manage financial underwriting, due diligence, and transaction structuring
- Lead internal investment committee processes and approvals
- Work alongside asset management to optimize portfolio performance and exits
- Support capital strategies including partnerships, funds, and recapitalization initiatives
The Candidate
- 15 years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, or institutional capital
- Demonstrated track record executing complex real estate transactions in the U.S.
- Experience within student housing or comparable living sectors (multifamily, BTR, etc.)
- Strong financial modelling and capital markets expertise
- Proven leadership capability and experience operating in a global environment
