Associate - Development
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: c$150,000 - $180,000 Base Bonus

with a growing pipeline of projects across North America and globally.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Development Associate to join the New York based team. This individual will play a key role in the full life cycle of complex real estate projects — from acquisition and feasibility through design, entitlements, financing, construction, and delivery. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical foundation, a collaborative mindset, and exposure to multiple asset classes such as residential, hospitality, office, and retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of real estate development projects from concept through completion, managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Conduct market research, financial modeling, and feasibility analysis to evaluate potential acquisitions and development opportunities.
- Assist in coordination with design teams, architects, engineers, consultants, and local authorities to advance entitlements and project approvals.
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and reporting materials for internal committees, investors, and partners.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure projects align with strategic, financial, and community objectives.
- Participate in contract negotiations, RFP processes, and selection of consultants and contractors.
- Monitor project performance during construction and post-completion to evaluate outcomes against underwriting assumptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in real estate development, ideally with exposure to mixed-use or large-scale urban projects.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, pro forma development, and investment analysis along with strong execution oversight experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and interface with senior leadership.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
