The Senior Structural Engineer works closely with other engineering disciplines in order to provide crucial structural decisions and technical strategic data to support Redpath’s projects and construction.

The Senior Structural Engineer works closely with other engineering disciplines in order to provide crucial structural decisions and technical strategic data to support Redpath’s projects and construction.
Responsibilities
Health and Safety:
- Having the authority and responsibility to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Following Company health and safety standards and reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to Supervisor.
- Responsible for the review and analysis of structural engineering design for mining structures and construction safety
- Seal civil/structural drawings
- Ensure building codes, standards and mining/heavy industry legal regulations have been with advanced analytical skills
- Provide consultation for project schematic plans or estimates to avoid unnecessary cost and loss at an early decision phase
- Provide crucial structural decisions and technical data to propel projects and construction
- Provide project technical support
- Reporting as required
- Coaching and developing structural engineers and EITs
- Maintain confidentiality with respect to Redpath and client information

Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with structural discipline
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) licence
- Ten (10) years minimum experience in Civil/Structural design
- AutoCAD
- Structural Engineering Software
- MS Office
- SharePiont

- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel
