Shuttle Driver Patagonia, AZ, United States (On-site) Job Description The Shuttle Driver is responsible for assisting in transporting Redpath crews to and from work in a shuttle van to meet their day shift and night shift schedules from their selected home base pickup spot. Shuttle will service Sierra Vista, Az, Vail, Az, and Rio Rico, Az. Responsibilities 1. Pick up and drop off people along a predetermined route on time, usually in a van or bus. 2. Ensuring the comfort and safety of your passengers, delivering your riders to their destination on time. 3. Maintaining a clean and well-kept vehicle 4. Ensures general maintenance of shuttle vehicles. 5. Maintaining daily company vehicle inspection sheet. 6. Fuels shuttle vehicle with gas and oil, as needed. 7. Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. 8. Recognize hazards and safety risks. 9. Work in a standing, seated, or other physical positions. 10. Maintain confidentiality with respect to Redpath and client information. 11. Complies with and ensure compliance with Redpath’s Policies and Procedures as detailed in the appropriate manuals, handbooks, directives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). 12. Able to work in excess of 40 hours a week, overtime, day and nights, weekends, holidays and shift rotations. 13. Compliance with Redpath Core Competencies is an essential duty and responsibility. 14. The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. 15. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assist other job functions as required. Qualifications Education: 1. High School, GED, and/or higher education. Work Experience: 1. Preferred but not required one (1) year of experience as a Shuttle Driver or relevant experience. Knowledge Required: 1. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written. 2. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 3. High level of attention to detail, neatness, and accuracy. 4. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. 5. Ability to take direction from supervision. Other Requirements: 1. Ability to pass background clearance check, drug screening and physical. 2. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. 3. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence. 4. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. 5. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
