Title: Sr. IBM Sterling Developer (eCommerce)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sr. IBM Sterling Developer to join a fast-paced eCommerce technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM Sterling Order Management solutions, Java development, and distributed fulfillment systems. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable applications that support inventory management, order fulfillment, and supply chain operations.
Required Skills
- Experience with IBM Sterling Supply Chain Fulfillment Suite, Distributed Order Management (DOM), and Global Inventory Visibility (GIV).
- Hands-on experience customizing and extending Sterling APIs, databases, user interfaces, user exits, agents, and web services.
- Knowledge of Sterling Configuration Deployment Toolkit (CDT).
- Strong hands-on experience with Java development.
- Experience with J2EE, Web Services, relational databases (RDBMS), and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working with application servers such as Apache or JBoss.
- Familiarity with version control systems including Git, SVN, or CVS.
- Experience with build automation and deployment processes.
- Experience working in Agile and Continuous Delivery environments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to design, prototype, and develop technology solutions supporting eCommerce and fulfillment operations.
- Quickly learn tools, technologies, frameworks, and business processes utilized by the team.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop scalable and high-performance applications using Java, J2EE, IBM Sterling, Oracle, Cassandra, and related technologies.
- Design and implement technical solutions to meet business and product requirements.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Create high-quality technical designs, code, and documentation.
- Support production systems as part of a Level 3 engineering support rotation.
- Troubleshoot and investigate complex issues related to inventory management and fulfillment systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
