Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering or similiar background
- 5 years of Hardware industry experience
- 3 years of Hardware testing and failure analysis experience
- Any ability to write scripting is a plus, not needed
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical analysis on failed Network switches to pinpoint the exact failure mechanism.
- Develop test equipment to perform failure analysis on ODM switches and access points
- Partner with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing engineering teams to communicate findings and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Document analysis steps, test data, and final conclusions into clear, data-driven, and detailed failure analysis reports for internal teams and external customers.
- Identify failure trends to suggest design modifications, component substitutions, or manufacturing process changes
