Work Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite)
Job Description (JD):
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Verification (EDVT) Engineer to support the development of new and existing products. The candidate will be responsible for executing electrical design verification tests, developing automated test scripts, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Electrical Design Verification Tests (EDVT) for new and sustaining products
- Develop and execute system and component-level test plans
- Create and run Python-based test scripts for automation
- Debug design failures and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with hardware, software, manufacturing, and product teams to resolve issues and meet project timelines
- Identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle
- Support lab testing activities, including handling and setup of systems
Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in Electrical Design Verification Testing (EDVT)
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, programming, and networking
- Experience in system-level debugging and root cause analysis
- Hands-on experience with test development and hardware validation
- Proficiency in Python (preferred) and/or TCL, C, C , or shell scripting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Comfortable handling lab equipment (20–50 lbs systems)
- Willing to work onsite at least 3 days/week in Santa Clara
Preferred:
- Experience with liquid cooling systems in hardware testing
Salary : $68 - $70
