Redmont Health & Rehab is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our leadership team in Birmingham, Alabama. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily business office operations within the skilled nursing facility
- Manage resident trust accounts and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate billing processes for Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Private Pay, and insurance accounts
- Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections efforts
- Work closely with residents and families regarding financial matters and payment arrangements
- Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of admission agreements and financial documentation
- Partner with facility leadership to support census, revenue, and operational goals
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company policies
- Assist with payroll, human resources, and administrative functions as needed
- Serve as a professional resource for residents, families, and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Business Office Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Private Pay billing
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, collections, and healthcare finance
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Proficiency with healthcare software systems and Microsoft Office
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
