JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Specialist I performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance, alteration and repair of the District’s facilities. This position is also responsible for the a wide variety of grounds maintenance of improved and unimproved grounds, playgrounds, irrigation systems, sports turf, fencing, paving, concrete and snow removal. The position requires working both independently and cooperatively as a team. The job position requires a variety of building maintenance skills with entry-level proficiency.
