We are pleased to announce that we are seeking qualified applicants for an Extra Duty High School Events Manager on our team at Redmond High School. A stipend will be paid for each season.
JOB SUMMARY
The Events Manager is responsible for oversight of athletic activities during the fall, winter, and spring seasons.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties of this position include the following. Employees in this position perform some or all of the following tasks. Other duties may be assigned.
- Venue set-up.
- Meet and greet officials.
- Meet and greet the opposing team.
- Half-time responsibilities, ie, escort officials, provide water, unlock locker rooms, and give time updates.
- Venue clean-up.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Professionally represent the schools and the District in interactions with parents, community, staff, and students, and resolve conflict in a professional manner.
- Comply with applicable District, state, local and federal laws, rules and regulations.
- Adheres to all standards established by Teachers Standards and Practices Commissions for Competent and Ethical Educators.
- Adhere to all Oregon Administrative Rules related to licensed educators.
- Respond willingly to emergency situations outside of the standard work schedule.
- Pitch in where needed even if it’s outside of formal domain.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Attend work regularly.
MARGINAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marginal duties of this position include the following. Employees in this position perform some or all of the following tasks. Other duties may be assigned.
- Serve on building and District and school committees and councils.
- Report issues to authorities as necessary, animal control, suspicious activity etc.
- Reports safety, sanitary and fire hazards immediately to supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may supervise volunteers, student aides, and educational assistants. All school employees have some responsibility for supervising students and assisting in maintaining a safe environment at all times.

- Coaching experience
- Bilingual (Spanish)
