Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize the flow of goods, materials, and information throughout our supply chain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely shipments, inventory accuracy, and communication across departments, vendors, and transportation providers.
Responsibilities
Our Logistics Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to working hand in hand with the account, dispatcher, drivers and most importantly, the customer to set up the delivery of goods that the customer has ordered. The Coordinator is the primary contact to keep the customer updated on their order.
Communication through phone, email and web based programs is key to ensure our customers stay updated on when their freight will arrive.
The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter with great customer service and communication skills. This position is also responsible for answering calls coming into the office and directing them to the correct person.
Must be familiar with basic office equipment such as computer, fax and scanning.
Pay is DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
