Rescue Technician
We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Part-Time Standby Rescue Technicians.
About Us: Redline Safety is a premier safety and compliance provider in the Southeastern United States. We specialize in services such as safety training, compliance and inspection, emergency response training, fire protection, and standby rescue services.
Job Description: As a Part-Time Rescue Technician, you will be responsible for providing immediate rescue services in the event of an emergency. This role requires a high level of readiness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to various rescue scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Standby for rescue operations during high-risk activities.
- Perform rescue operations in confined spaces, at heights, and other hazardous environments.
- Conduct safety assessments and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain rescue equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Participate in regular training and drills to maintain rescue skills.
- Provide first aid and basic life support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Confined Space Rescue, Rope Rescue, or equivalent.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (can be obtained during onboarding).
- Previous experience in rescue operations or emergency response.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in high-risk, confined, and challenging environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Employment Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be 21 years of age or older β Insurability requirements
- Valid driver's license / MVR
- Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing / Post-employment random Drug & Alcohol Testing

Working Environment
This role operates within a dynamic plant and customer-facing environment, requiring flexibility to work 12-hour day and / or night shifts. Candidates must be comfortable working in diverse conditions, including frequent exposure to outdoor weather, humidity, and vibrations. Technical duties involve navigating high-pressure systems, industrial chemicals, and heavy plant traffic, all while maintaining a high standard of safety. While the noise level is typically moderate, the position demands a resilient individual capable of performing consistently across both internal facilities and various client sites.
