You'll work at the centre of a dynamic facility, keeping financial processes accurate, organized, and moving. Sitting between site leadership and an external accounting team, you'll gain hands-on exposure across accounts payable, billing coordination, and day-to-day business operations — with increasing responsibility as the accounting function grows over time.
What You'll Do
Accounts Payable & Billing
- Collect, review, and organize vendor invoices and supplier bills before submission
- Compile and verify employee timesheets for approval prior to forwarding to accounting
- Coordinate with the external accounting team to keep invoices booked and payments on schedule
- Track outstanding payables and follow up on discrepancies or missing documentation
Accounting Liaison
- Serve as the primary contact between site operations and external accountants
- Keep accounting deadlines on track and flag issues early
- Support the transition to in-house accounting, including process documentation and onboarding support
Office Administration
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Manage office supplies, mail, and courier coordination
- Assist with scheduling, meeting prep, and document preparation
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
What We're Looking For
Required
- 2 years of experience in an accounting, AP/AR or office coordinator role or comparable experience
- Hands-on experience with invoices, bills, or timesheets in a business setting
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and financial documents
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Post-secondary education in accounting, business administration, or a related field
