End Dump Driver

Must be able to transport and deliver materials by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations on intrastate commerce. The driver will be responsible for driving to and from designated locations, verify loads, bill of ladings, maintaining record status according to State and Federal regulations, and perform pre-trip and post trip inspections.

· Driver must have a Commercial Class A Driver’s License.

· Driver must be able to qualify physically and obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate under the requirements Subpart E, Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

· Driver must be able to report for dispatch at time specified and to maintain contact with dispatch offices as required.

· Driver must be able to work Monday through Saturday.

· Drivers must be able to work evenings, holidays, and occasionally Sundays when requested.

· All required paperwork must be turned in daily or as otherwise scheduled.

· Driver must be able to follow company guidelines in regards to acceptable conduct when dealing with customers, fellow employees, and the public.

· Driver is expected to practice good personal hygiene.

· Driver must be able to familiarize him/her with proper methods of loading and unloading various cargos.

· Driver must be able to sit for extended periods of time in the truck.

· Driver must wear safety seat belt while the truck is in motion.

· Driver must be able to drive up to 10 hours a day while transporting materials in various weather conditions.

· Driver must be able to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, climb, and lift 50 pounds to the waist or 42 pounds overhead when necessary.

· Driver is responsible to follow all federal and state regulations.

· Driver is responsible for interior and exterior cleanliness of his or her truck.

· Driver is responsible for maintaining a clean safe driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Preferred)
