Redline Athletics is a national leader in youth sports performance, and we are looking for a competitive, high-energy Business Development Specialist to join our team. This is a revenue-generating role, not an administrative one. Your primary mission is to convert leads into long-term members by delivering a professional, high-trust trial experience and maintaining disciplined follow-up.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a "closer" who thrives in a performance-based environment.

  • Competitive: You enjoy "scoreboards," are energized by targets, and want to win. A background as a former athlete is preferred.
  • High Urgency: You move with pace and understand that "speed-to-lead" is your primary conversion leverage.
  • Process-Oriented: You respect systems, follow CRM structures, and log every interaction without fail.
  • Confident with Parents: You are comfortable discussing ROI and price with decision-makers without defaulting to discounts.
  • Coachable: You are open to feedback, practice scripts, and constantly want to improve your closing percentage.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead Conversion: Respond to new leads immediately and guide prospects through the sales process to drive membership growth.
  • Trial Experience: Deliver professional tours and trial experiences that build immediate trust with families.
  • Disciplined Follow-Up: Execute a rigorous follow-up schedule for "no-buys" to ensure no lead is left behind.
  • CRM & Systems Management: Maintain 100% CRM compliance by logging all calls, SMS, and timestamps. You will be expected to learn and become proficient in our key software solutions, including Mindbody and HighLevel.
  • Front Desk Support: While your focus is sales, you will spend a portion of your time (less than 25%) at the front desk to greet members, coordinate check-ins for parents and athletes, and manage event logistics.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships within the community to enhance our presence and impact.

Experience & Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in B2C consultative sales, membership-based fitness sales, or youth sports enrollment.
  • Technical Aptitude: While prior experience with Mindbody or HighLevel is not required, you must demonstrate the ability to learn and operate effectively within these platforms after hire.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in sports, health, and youth human performance.
  • Professionalism: You must look, act, and live like a fitness professional with a positive, upbeat attitude.
  • Availability: This is a part-time role (20 hours/week) at $20.00 per hour, with potential for increased hours as the business grows.

Compensation & Performance Upside

This role is designed for high-performers who want to control their income through skill and execution.

  • Volume Commission: Earn progressively higher commission per sale based on monthly volume.
  • Skill Bonuses: Additional bonuses for maintaining a 50% conversion rate and protecting enrollment fee integrity.
