What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) - Perinatal Services position at Redlands Community Hospital?
This position is responsible for the provision of women’s health educational services provided as part of the Perinatal Services program: CPSP, sweet success and birth and beyond .
- Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required.
- Typing and computer skills required.
- BSN or health related bachelors degree preferred, MSN desirable
- One year of nursing experience in obstetrics or labor and delivery preferred.
- One year of experience in gestational diabetes education preferred.
- One year of experience in lactation education preferred
- Ability to read, write and speak the Spanish language preferred.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Current childbirth educator certificate preferred.
- Current Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification preferred.
- Current International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification required
