What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Tele, New to Specialty position at Redlands Community Hospital?

To be considered, NCLEX test date must be scheduled by January 31, 2026.
Program Start Date: March 10, 2026 (10-16 weeks must be available for didactics and clinical preceptorship no exceptions)
Reporting to the Director, the staff RN performs professional role functions in accordance with scope of practice and professional standards, including demonstrating the knowledge and ability to use and/or lead the scope of practice, professional standards and accreditation / regulatory standards, scope of practice for LVN and all other nursing personnel e.g. unlicensed assistive personnel. The RN demonstrates the ability to assess their own professional role performance, current knowledge of theory and principles related to discipline specific practice, and the ability to use a population-based approach to determine patient needs.

- Minimum of 1 year RN experience in a Post-Acute or Sub-Acute setting.
- Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required.
- Experience and/or training in leadership preferred, if acting as charge nurse.
- Current CA State licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
- Current CPR certificate required.
- Current ACLS certification required. (Grandfathered: existing employees must complete new requirements by 8/31/2026)
