What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Asst/Transporter, Special Procedures position at Redlands Community Hospital?
Reporting to the department Supervisor, this position transports patients for the Special Procedures Services as requested by the department staff, Emergency room staff and physicians. Assists with a variety of duties in the department, including but not limited to, processing paperwork, cleaning rooms, transporting patients, preparing patients for exams, stocking exam rooms, preparing exam rooms for next patient, obtaining orders/labs for technologist review, transporting specimens to laboratory, coordinating daily patient workflow, and assisting in areas identified by department Supervisor.

- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience as EMT or CNA preferred.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) Certification required.
