This position may work in Hematology, Chemistry, or Blood Bank. *$10K sign on bonus for FT night shift. (as applicable).
Reporting to the Director of Laboratory Services, a clinical laboratory scientist generalist is responsible for performing moderate to high complexity laboratory tests that involve multiple steps and techniques and require the use of professional judgement and technical operation in the respective laboratory section: chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology and immunohematology. Application of the principles, theories, and techniques of clinical laboratory scientists are used to produce consistent, reliable test results that aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Clinical laboratory scientists are responsible for adhering to Redlands Community Hospital policies and procedures, regulations, and professional standards.
Education/Training/ Experience

- All Flexible Schedule II employees will work two (2) shifts in a pay period. Unit needs may warrant more frequent use.
Education/Training/ Experience
- One year of experience in laboratory testing preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Medical Technology, or Biological Science preferred.
- Completion of an approved internship or formal training program in Medical Technology preferred.
- Valid California license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
