What are the responsibilities and job description for the Discharge Planning Assistant position at Redlands Community Hospital - UTILIZATION MANAGEMENT?

Reporting to the Director of Case Management, this position provides support to the case management personnel by assisting in information disbursement for referrals to outside agencies post hospitalization. This position keeps records, authorizations and paperwork for the department to ensure the financial needs that relate to the post hospital care are correct for hospital billing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Two years of experience in acute hospital setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Computer skills highly desirable.

Salary : $23 - $29
