What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-Admissions Testing (PAT) FS II position at Redlands Community Hospital - SURGERY PREP NURSES?
Reporting to the Director of Nursing/OR this position enables patient to approach surgery with understanding and confidence. Acts as liaison between hospital, patient and physicians. Alerts Surgeons and Anesthesiologist regarding abnormal lab results and medication problems. Assembles required lab, x-ray and EKG reports on patients care pre-op. Instructs patient regarding appropriate medication prior to surgery.
* All Flexible Schedule II employees will work two (2) shifts in a pay period. Unit needs may warrant more frequent use.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current California RN License required.
2. Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
3. Three years operating room or three years PACU experience preferred.
