Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable.
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that encourage cooperation and respect.
- Conduct lesson planning tailored to individual student needs, including special education and early intervention techniques to support diverse learners.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development milestones across social, emotional, cognitive, and motor domains.
- Monitor and assess student progress using standardized testing methods and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that supports toddler care, daycare routines, and preschool experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education practices.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Proven experience working with children across various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and literacy education methodologies.
- Ability to implement Montessori or other educational frameworks effectively within the classroom setting.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Experience with classroom experience including daycare routines, standardized testing procedures, tutoring sessions, and physical education activities.
