The Adult and Family Services (AFS) Therapy Program is ReDiscover’s outpatient therapy department, offering clinicians the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families across the community. What You'll Do
- Evaluate client’s mental health condition based on the review of client information, including bio-psycho-social assessments, psychological evaluation, and diagnostics.
- Collect information about the client through interviews, observations, and tests. Prepares and maintains treatment records and reports.
- Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans for the client(s) being served.
- Availability to work a full-time schedule, (40-hours a week), Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a social science field (as defined by the Department of Mental Health).
- Active clinical license in the State of Missouri which includes: Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience in direct service provision in a mental health setting.
- Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders.
- Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as Microsoft Teams.
