What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Medicine Tech position at Redington Fairview General Hospital?
Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Manager/Chief Technologist and the direction of the Radiologist(s), shall perform a variety of duties and technical Nuclear Medicine procedures in preparing patients for scans utilizing radioactive tracers for body imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Staff must demonstrate knowledge and skill necessary to perform exams on patients of all age groups, are knowledgeable about development needs over the age span and when appropriate are knowledgeable about the use of age related equipment.
Status: Per diem
Qualities: Patients centered approach to care is essential.
Requirements: Must be a graduate from an approved Radiology Technology school holding a National Registry in Radiology Technology. Must have previous Nuclear Medicine experience. Must hold a State of Maine Nuclear Medicine License or be a graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine School holding a National registry in Nuclear Medicine and a State of Maine Nuclear Medicine License. BLS
The pay range for this position is $40.00 to $61.12 per hour, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience.
