Earn as you learn! RFGH is seeking candidates for the 14-week Medical Assistant Training Program.
Medical Assistant Trainees must commit to 20 hours per week of education and on-the-job training from January 8th through April 12th. Trainees will learn the clinical and administrative skills necessary to sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam through the National Healthcareer Association. Upon completion of the program and earning the CCMA credential, trainees are guaranteed an interview for a full time position at RFGH.
The program consists of online modules (reading, tests, simulations, etc.), weekly in-class instruction, and workplace experience. Attendance at Wednesday evening classes from 4:00-7:00pm, as well as all scheduled shifts, is required.
Status: Part time, 20 hours per week. Wednesday evening classes from 4:00-7:00pm.
Qualities: Great interpersonal and organizational skills required, as well as flexibility and willingness to learn. Must be able to multi task and have computer and typing skills. Commitment to providing high quality patient-centered care is a must.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
