What are the responsibilities and job description for the Echocardiographer position at Redington Fairview General Hospital?
Under the supervision of the Radiology Manager and the direction of the Cardiologist the cardiac sonographer shall perform echocardiograms requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to clinically assess patients.
Status: Per diem
Qualities: Patient centered team approach to care is imperative.
Requirements: Candidate must have 2 years of experience in cardiac ultrasound including pulsed wave, continuous wave, color flow and contrast/bubble studies. Ideally the candidate is a graduate of a 2-year cardiovascular training program and is registered with ARDMS/CCI in Adult Echo and is CPR certified. Experience with Philips Epiq 7/CVX is a plus but not required.
The pay range for this position is $36.40 to $57.96 per hour, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience
