Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher and Painter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces and applying high-quality paint finishes across residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Duties

• Prepare drywall surfaces through plastering, caulking, sanding, and taping to ensure smooth, even finishes.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute drywall installation and finishing tasks.
• Apply primer, paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), and conventional spray equipment for various surfaces.
• Perform construction site painting surface preparation such as sanding, patching, and cleaning to ensure optimal adhesion of paints and coatings.
• Execute structural and industrial painting projects with precision, including restoration work on existing surfaces.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete framing, fixture installation, masonry work, or minor carpentry tasks related to finishing projects.
• Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to all safety protocols during painting and drywall finishing activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction painting—including residential, commercial, industrial, or renovation projects—demonstrating a strong understanding of surface preparation and coating techniques.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless systems), brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Knowledge of color theory for effective color matching and visual color comparison skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction painting surfaces and respiratory protection measures.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise finishing work.
• Experience with plastering, caulking, stucco application, fixture installation, frame carpentry, masonry work or handyman tasks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality craftsmanship in both drywall finishing and painting applications.
• Ability to work at heights using ladders safely and efficiently while maintaining focus on safety protocol adherence.
