The Facility Mapping Specialist plays a vital role in Redicare’s workplace safety solutions by visiting client sites to capture accurate 3D scans of their facilities. Using Matterport and related technology, this role combines fieldwork and office-based tasks—documenting building layouts, refining digital maps, and highlighting key details that support workplace preparedness planning. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regular domestic travel by air or by vehicle to client sites to perform full-facility scans using Matterport 3D imaging technology.
- Capture accurate layouts, hazards, and facility details during site visits.
- Process, edit, and organize digital scans into clear, usable floor plans.
- Update existing outdated floor plans provided by the customer
- Annotate maps with site-specific notes
- Deliver organized, presentation-ready surveys to the Business Development team.
- Balance time between fieldwork (scanning client facilities) and office work (processing and preparing reports).
- Maintain and troubleshoot scanning equipment to ensure reliable field use.
- Communicate professionally with clients while representing Redicare’s commitment to workplace safety.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in facility surveying, safety planning, or a technical mapping role preferred.
- At least 1 year experience using Matterport or similar 3D scanning technology (ALL EQUIPMENT WILL BE PROVIDED BY REDICARE)
- At least 1 year experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, or other drawing software
- Strong technical skills for processing digital scans and producing clear layouts.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator, able to convey findings clearly to internal teams.
- Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel regularly to client sites.
- Professional, client-focused demeanor.
- Experience in photography and videography is a plus, but not required.
MEETING SCHEDULE:
- Attend Company-wide team meeting - Quarterly
- Attend Weekly Operations meeting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
