Redhorse transforms how government uses data and technology. We are seeking a Policy Analyst / Business Process Analyst to play a key role in developing a next-generation IT application. You will work directly with end-users of an existing web application and paper-based processes, collaborating with technology teams to design and implement a streamlined, automated solution. Your expertise in policy and procedures will ensure compliance and best practices are integrated throughout the entire process. Key Responsibilities
- Develop a next-generation IT application to streamline and automate business workflows based on input from end users
- Train end-users on policy-based best practices related to protected data (PII, HIPAA, etc.)
- Work with non-technical end-users to understand their current workflows and IT system usage
- Translate non-technical user requirements into technical specifications for technology engineering teams
- Review technology products for compliance with data handling policies and end-user functional requirements
- Maintain a policy-oriented knowledge base to support ongoing operations
- Identify opportunities to improve business workflow efficiency through automation
- Knowledge of policies and procedures governing appropriate use of protected data like PII or HIPAA data
- Proven ability to streamline business workflows and improve efficiency through automation
- Experience working with non-technical end-users to understand their workflows and IT system usage
- Experience coordinating with technology engineering teams to translate non-technical requirements into technical specifications
- Experience reviewing technology products for compliance with data handling policies and end-user functional requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Past involvement in user experience (UX) design of IT applications
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira)
