Host Home/Professional Parent
Providing Direct Support to individuals with disabilities in your own home full time. CNA experience required, certification preferred (not required)
We are currently looking to place 2-3 clients. Our host home providers are enthusiastic, competent, and compassionate caregivers and are needed to provide assistance and care to the individuals we serve. Redhead Supports is a new provider for individuals with disabilities in the state of Utah. Our mantra is "We strive to be the kind of caregiver where our own loved ones would be safe and healthy". Our professional parent caregivers enjoy a range of opportunities to assist the individuals we serve, including (but not limited to) community activities and outings, help with basic living and social skills, assistance with progress toward individuals' personal goals, accomplishing errands and tasks, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of these individuals.
Requirements
Experience is valuable, but sincere interest, compassion, upbeat attitude, and a solid work ethic are most important.
Reliable transportation necessary. We provide all training and on going support.
We also screen for clean backgrounds and drug use.
Main caregiver needs to be 21 years of age.
If you're a good candidate, you will be receiving a survey to fill out more detailed info about your home life so we can better match you with a host home client.
Household income cannot include host home contract. This means you will have to prove your income can sustain your current lifestyle to qualify for Host Home contracted employment.
CNA experience is preferred, certification is not required.
Pay is great and non-taxable. $3,000/month minimum tax free income!
