- Assist licensed electricians with installing electrical wiring, conduits, panels, and fixtures according to project specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as cutting, bending, and securing wiring and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate installations.
- Support the testing of electrical systems using tools like ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Help troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical issues under supervision.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and construction site regulations.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Strong interest in developing skills related to electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites in various weather conditions.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks safely.
- Willingness to learn about NEC standards, electrical codes, and safety procedures.
- Experience with construction or frame carpentry is great-fully helpful but not required.
