Position: Youth Ministry Coordinator
Reports to: Student Ministries Department Head
Schedule: In-person
Sundays 8am-2pm (30 min lunch)
Tuesday: 9am-3:30pm (30 min lunch)
Wednesdays: 1pm-10pm (1hr lunch)
Thursday: 9am to 3:30pm (30 min lunch)
Position Summary
The Youth Ministry Coordinator provides administrative, organizational, and event support to help ensure the smooth operation of the youth ministry. This role works closely with the Youth Pastor and ministry staff to coordinate events, manage communications, support outreach initiatives, and help ensure weekly ministry services and programs run according to schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage administrative responsibilities for the youth ministry, including receipt reconciliation, record keeping, scheduling, and other organizational tasks.
- Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of youth ministry events, programs, and services.
- Provide support for staff-required events and activities as needed.
- Assist the Youth Pastor with the planning and execution of First Friday events.
- Help coordinate and support school outreach initiatives and partnerships.
- Help ensure that Sunday services, Wednesday programs, and First Friday events are properly organized and run according to schedule.
- Compose and distribute communications to the ministry database regarding upcoming events, services, announcements, and other relevant information.
- Provide general administrative and logistical support to the Youth Pastor and youth ministry team.
- Assist with communication, coordination, and follow-up related to ministry events and programs
