Content Creator

CLASSIFICATION:Full time, Hourly, non-exempt

SCHEDULE:Sunday: 7:30am - 4pm (30 minute lunch)Monday through Thursday 9am- 5:30pm (30-minute lunch)

Position Overview

Redemption Church is seeking a creative and mission-driven Content Creator to join our Creative Department. This role is primarily focused on producing compelling video content that communicates the heart of our church — from worship services to social media and beyond. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who is comfortable behind the camera, skilled in editing, and passionate about sharing the Gospel in fresh, engaging ways

Key Responsibilities

Video Production & Editing

• Plan, film, and edit video content for a variety of platforms, including social media, website, worship services, conferences, and special events.
• Craft both short- and long-form video content that reflects Redemption Church’s mission and values.
• Maintain high technical standards in editing (sound, color, motion, and pacing).
• Organize and archive video files for ongoing and future use.

Creative Collaboration

• Partner with the Creative Team and other staff members to bring ideas to life across all ministries.
• Incorporate feedback from leadership to improve and finalize creative projects.
• Contribute to planning sessions for upcoming campaigns, sermon series, and initiatives.

Visual Storytelling & Brand Consistency

• Create content that aligns with the church’s visual identity and enhances its presence both online and in person.
• Capture moments that help tell the story of what God is doing in and through Redemption Church.

Technical Proficiency

• Operate video production equipment (cameras, lighting, microphones) with skill and professionalism.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, etc.
• Stay informed about current trends in video content, social media, and church communications.
• Skilled with Black Magic Cameras and knowledgeable in camera settings.

Bonus Skill: Graphic DesignWhile this role focuses on video, experience in graphic design is a strong plus:

• Ability to design graphics for social media, web, merchandise, signage, and live events.
• Willing to support the Creative Team on design-related projects when needed.

​Work Environment & Schedule

• Full-time, in-person role at Redemption Church.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for events and services.

RequirementsQualificationsRequirements

• Proven experience in videography and video editing with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Familiarity with production equipment (camera, lighting, and audio).
• Collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about church ministry.
• Ability to receive vision and bring it to life on screen.
• Able to receive constructive criticism and a team attitude

Preferred

• Experience in a church or ministry setting.
• Awareness of social media video trends and platform formats.
• Skills in graphic design and/or motion graphics.
