Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to elevate the guest experience.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, process payments accurately, and balance registers at shift end.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate supply needs to management promptly.
Experience
- Previous food service or hospitality industry experience with a focus on bartending or beverage service preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer trends.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to connect with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Experience in fine dining settings or banquet environments is a plus.
