About the Opportunity

Redegate USA is supporting an established industrial equipment manufacturer in Erie, Pennsylvania, seeking an experienced, hands-on Business Analyst for a short-term independent consulting engagement.

This opportunity is exclusively for qualified independent consultants interested in a direct 1099 engagement with Redegate USA. It is not a W-2 employment position, and third-party C2C arrangements will not be considered.

The ideal consultant brings practical experience in financial and operational analysis, business process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. We are seeking someone who can work independently, engage directly with business leadership, identify inefficiencies, and help implement meaningful improvements.

The successful consultant will combine strong analytical capabilities with hands-on involvement in day-to-day business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Excel-based reporting, financial analyses, and operational performance tracking.
• Support finance, sales, and operations teams with reporting, data analysis, and actionable business insights.
• Evaluate and document existing business processes, including order management and related financial workflows.
• Map cross-functional processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements.
• Review order processing and related operational activities to understand existing workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with business leadership to improve reporting accuracy, process visibility, and operational efficiency.
• Independently manage assigned analytical and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide recommendations and support implementation of practical business improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated professional experience in business analysis, financial analysis, sales operations, supply chain analysis, or related functions.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
• Solid financial acumen and understanding of operational and business performance metrics.
• Experience evaluating, documenting, and improving business processes.
• Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and collaborate with multiple business functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial equipment, or related businesses preferred.
• Previous independent consulting or contract assignment experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred.

Experienced professionals and independent consultants with broader financial or operational leadership backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Engagement Details

Duration: Initial 2–3 month consulting assignment, with potential for extension.

Schedule: Four days per week on-site in Erie, Pennsylvania, with one day working remotely.

Regional Candidates: Qualified consultants within approximately 2–3 hours of Erie, including Western Pennsylvania, Northeast Ohio, and Western New York, are encouraged to apply.

Travel & Lodging: Hotel accommodations and per diem may be available for qualified consultants residing outside the immediate Erie area, subject to assignment requirements and prior approval.

Compensation: Competitive hourly consulting rate based on experience, qualifications, and agreed engagement terms.
