Job Summary
The Grocery Pricing and Promotions Coordinator supports the execution and accuracy of pricing and promotional activities across grocery categories. This role ensures prices are correctly set, promotions are implemented on time, and data is maintained accurately across systems to drive sales, competitiveness, and customer trust.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing Coordination
- Maintain and update regular, sale, and promotional pricing in pricing systems.
- Ensure price accuracy across stores, online platforms, and marketing materials.
- Assist with price audits and resolve pricing discrepancies.
- Support competitive price checks and basic market analysis.
Promotions Execution
- Coordinate the setup and execution of weekly, monthly, and seasonal promotions.
- Ensure promotional pricing aligns with promotional calendars and vendor agreements.
- Work with marketing, merchandising, and store operations teams to ensure timely rollout.
- Verify promotional signage, ads, and digital content for accuracy.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain pricing and promotion databases with a high level of accuracy.
- Generate reports on promotion performance, pricing changes, and margin impact.
- Track promotional compliance and flag issues or risks.
Vendor & Internal Collaboration
- Communicate with vendors regarding cost changes, allowances, and promotional funding.
- Support merchandising teams with pricing-related requests.
- Coordinate with IT or systems teams on pricing updates or system issues.
Compliance & Accuracy
- Ensure pricing complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal audits related to pricing and promotions.
- Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- 3 years of experience in retail pricing, promotions, merchandising, or data coordination (grocery or retail preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Excel and pricing or POS systems.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic analytical skills with the ability to interpret pricing data.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55, $65,000.00 per year
