SUMMARY OF JOB
The Wound Care Center RN is an integral part of the Wound Care Center clinical team. The RN provides care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients with chronic or acute wound issues. Working in conjunction with the treating physician, Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses, and other RN’s, the nurse provides direct patient care as well as oversees all aspects of patient care. These may include education of patients and caregivers, contact with home health agencies, working with durable medical equipment (DME) companies, and ensuring adequate supplies for patient treatment. In addition, the Wound Care RN is responsible for medical case management of Redeemer Health Wound Care Center patients.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required
BSN attained or within 3 years of hire
Wound Care Certification preferred
Wound care experience or related experience preferred
BLS certification required
