SUMMARY OF JOB:

Sr Clinical Systems Analyst role Leads design of complex systems needs of staff and Cancer Center Operations. Collaborates with users to determine in depth clinical information needs, current workflow and sources of required data.  Leads Development, tests, and modifies complex internal applications systems. Serves as clinical expert on system selection team and Support Team. Performs complex analysis and troubleshooting for various clinical applications.  Works with Technical Support on day to day basis to provide expertise and support to all areas of Cancer Center Operations.

The Sr Clinical Systems Analyst will participate in clinical application selection, design, development, testing, enhancement, documentation, and ongoing support of Cancer Center clinical/financial applications to support business and patient care processes. Participates in evaluaton, selection and implementation of new technologies. Follows technical standsards for development, testing, change management and documentation. Practices continuous quality improvement, and serves as support resource for IT Projects associated with Cancer Center.

Will work under direction of IT Director and Cancer Center Director.

The Sr Clinical Systems Analyst will provide  On-Call after hours support as required to support customer as dedicated resource.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-8 years of relevant work experience in radiation and medical oncology preferred. Will consider Clinical background.
• Associates Degree or a combination of relevant clinical education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated advanced experience in Electronic Medical Records, Cancer based software/hardware.
• Subject Matter expertise and a track record in implementing and supporting clinical software and interoperability that provides value to the customer base.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Cancer Care Application Systems.
• Proven abilities to work with Clinicians including but not limited to Nurses and Physicians.
• Proven abilities to work with IT teams.
• Ability to ensure processes and workflows are reviewed, documented, changed, and optimized as part of all technology deployment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the IT, user, and vendor community.
