Job Description
As a Radiologic Nurse Expert at Redeemer Health, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in the Cardiovascular Center. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and planning patient care in the Cardiovascular Lab & Prep/Recovery areas.
- Operating and monitoring various types of Cath Lab equipment, assisting physicians during catheterization procedures.
- Providing education to patients and family members.
- Performing tasks outside your regular duties or cross-trained assignments when necessary.
Requirements
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- At least three years of experience in adult Critical Care nursing.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in diagnostic and interventional Cardiac/Radiologic Catheterization procedures, as well as successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia and Critical Care courses.
- Current BLS / ACLS certifications are also required.
- Ability to work varied shifts and/or on-call hours when necessary.
- Maintaining 30 CEU's within three years is a must.
