SUMMARY OF JOB
Responsible for day to day clerical operations of intake department. Provides Health Information data input into HCHB and intake call support for incoming referrals. Verifies insurance on all referrals. Interacts with clinical operations schedulers, licensed professionals, billing department and clients.
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience within healthcare setting, which includes data entry experience and insurance verification preferred.
- PC literate with strong keyboard skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills.
- Maintains a professional demeanor and is a strong team leader.
- Able to travel to other offices as required to assist with orientation of staff and/or peer.
- Ability to work flexible hours, with weekend and holidays included
