Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Full Time Rn position
Seeking applicants with critical care nursing experience
- Functions as a coordinator, facilitator, & provider of care to adult & geriatric patients before, during, & after procedures done in the Cardiovascular Center.
- Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all patient care in the Cardiovascular Lab & Prep/Recovery areas.
- Operates/monitors all types of Cath Lab equipment; Assists the physician during catheterization procedures.
- Provides education to patients and family members.
- There are times, based upon unusual work volume (increase or decrease), emergencies, or severe weather conditions, when it will become necessary for you to accept and perform a work assignment or assist with tasks which are outside of your regular duties or cross trained assignment in which you possess the basic knowledge and skill to perform the assignment safely.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN within 3 years of hire if not already attained.
Current license as Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
3 or more years experience in adult Critical Care nursing.
Experience in diagnostic and interventional Cardiac/Radiologic Catheterization procedures preferred.
Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia and Critical Care courses.
Current BLS / ACLS certifications.
Ability to work various shifts and/or on-call hours when required.
Must sustain 30 CEU’s within 3 years
