SUMMARY OF JOB:
Cardiology Technician is responsible for performing electrocardiogram recordings on adult and pediatric patients and assisting the physician & monitoring patients during Cardiac Stress Test procedures. Cardiology Technician is also responsible for instructing patients to use Pacemaker transmitter and/or Cardiac Monitoring equipment, performing system checks via telephone link and entering data/updating information in the Cardiology Department computer system.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduate.
- Certification of completion from an AMA approved cardiology technician training program preferred.
- At least one year experience performing EKG's, Cardiac Stress Tests and Cardiac Monitor Checks or any type of Medical Background. One year patient care experience required.
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to work various shifts and/ or on-call hours when required.
