Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant at our Sugar Land, TX, location. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, assisting healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, managing medical records, coordinating appointments, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly, and maintaining a professional and compassionate environment. The Medical Assistant will also perform administrative and clinical tasks to support the delivery of high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including preparing patients for examinations and assisting with procedures
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and its practical application in a clinical setting
- Experience in managing Medical Office operations, including scheduling and administrative tasks
- Strong Patient Care skills with an emphasis on compassion, communication, and confidentiality
- Familiarity with Medical Records management, including accurate documentation and EHR systems
- Effective organizational and time management abilities
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or certification is required
- Previous experience in a clinic or healthcare setting is an advantage
