The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Wellness Assistant (Part-Time). The preferred schedule for this position is a 20-hour work week, Monday through Wednesday, specific hours discussed upon employment offer.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Wellness Coordinator, performs a variety of support for the wellness department. Incumbent will track challenge participation, respond to wellness inquires, and providing general administrative support to the wellness department.
REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of clerical experience.
- Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and have reliable transportation to and from work sites.
- Computer skills and experience with a variety of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Demonstrated typing skills of 30-40 wpm or more and the ability to operate office equipment
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Indian preference.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Assist Wellness Coordinator with challenge participation.
- Assist Wellness Coordinator with upcoming wellness events and/ or runs.
- Process and complete monthly invoices from instructors and gym membership.
- Pick up and deliver weekly fruit for all our Redding campuses.
- Track monthly onsite class attendance.
- Track gym membership attendance in accordance with the current policy.
- Photocopy, scan and/or email information as requested by the Wellness Coordinator.
- Assist in writing communications for wellness, such as drafting email communications for all staff.
- Research monthly healthy meal ideas and preparation.
- Assist in creation and editing video content s requested by Wellness Coordinator.
- Create, edit or proof correspondence or reports in support of the department activities.
- Assist with record keeping of all wellness contracts.
