Position Overview:
As an Outdoor Service Technician, you’ll play a vital role in providing expert services to our clients, ensuring their outdoor spaces are well-maintained, pest-free, and functioning properly. We’re looking for someone with knowledge in one or more areas, including pest control, landscaping, irrigation, or construction. If you're passionate about working outdoors and delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Pest Control: Inspect properties for pests and provide effective treatment plans to prevent infestations.
- Landscaping: Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, and other outdoor spaces, including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching.
- Irrigation: Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution and efficiency.
- Construction: Assist with outdoor and some indoor construction projects such as decking, fencing, and other outdoor structures.
- Provide high-quality customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner while maintaining a positive work environment
- Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organized, adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of outdoor facilities to identify maintenance needs and report any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pest control, landscaping, irrigation, or construction is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety procedures related to outdoor services.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Certifications in pest control or irrigation systems (or willingness to obtain them).
- Experience with outdoor construction projects.
- Basic knowledge of plant care, soil management, and landscape design.
