About us
Redbud Farm School is a private, accredited, nature-based elementary and middle school in SW Oklahoma City, OK. We offer a creative, engaging, and inclusive environment for our students and teachers. Our philosophy of education focuses on hands-on, project-based learning in a nature-rich environment. Along with our traditional core subjects, we offer a variety of learning activities in our outdoor classrooms, including garden and animal care, STEM-based learning, and problem-solving opportunities.
Redbud Farm School is located on a 4-acre farm with animals and both indoor and outdoor classroom environments. We focus on educating the whole child’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, “home away from home” environment to maximize our student's learning and engagement.

This opportunity requires lead teacher candidates to have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (any major) with previous teaching experience and be able to be independent while also working as a member of the Elementary or Middle School team. Candidates with a current state teaching license are preferred. State licensure will be required for all teachers within 1 year of employment. Candidates should be familiar with Positive Behavior Strategies and Developmentally Appropriate Practices. Knowledge of The Science of Reading practices is preferred for our elementary teachers. We are looking for individuals who are creative in their planning and lesson implementation and don't mind getting their hands dirty and having fun!
