A fast-growing startup Biotechnology company is in need of a QA Specialist for 12 months. This is a fully remote position scheduled for 30 hours/week although this could fluctuate depending on the client's workload. This consultant will report to the Head of Quality. Target start date is January 12th, 2026.
The Quality team is small and they need a QA Specialist who will be focused primarily on batch record review. This consultant needs to have a strong understanding of product quality (not systems). This consultant will also support the implementation of a new eQMS for document support/migration activities around April 2026. The QA Specialist should be open to supporting other areas as needed and willing to roll up their sleeves to get critical projects done with a small team.
Top Requirements:
- 5-10 years of QA experience focused on batch record review for pharmaceutical companies
- BS degree minimum required
- Strong independent hands-on experience with deviations, CAPAs, and change controls
- Some involvement supporting the implementation of eQMS from QA Specialist perspective (support role, not leading the implementation)
- Strong communication skills and proactive communication style to be effective while working remotely
- Available to support 30 hours/week workload with understanding that this could fluctuate based on client's needs
- Must be an effective team player with an ability to foster positive working relationships with a new team
