I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Technical Writer / Editor supporting Space Doctrine initiatives in Patrick AFB, FL. This role is ideal for candidates with Space Force or military doctrine experience who enjoy translating complex operational concepts into clear, concise documentation.
Position Highlights:
• Location: Patrick AFB, FL (Onsite)
• Clearance Required: Active Top Secret Clearance
• Experience: 3–5 years
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in English, Technical Communication, Journalism, or related field
• Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and format doctrine publications for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and refine technical and operational content
• Manage documentation through the publication lifecycle
• Maintain publication standards and style consistency
• Support staffing coordination and document adjudication processes
Preferred Background:
• Experience with Space Force, military doctrine, or policy development
• Strong technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and publication management processes
• Experience in government or military environments is highly preferred
